The sky from that day
summary: lightning comes out of her crystal sleep with an idea to help bring back etro. the location of noel is unknown but he must be found.
Lightning stayed in her crystal stasis as punishment for allowing Serah to come along to save her. She needed to keep the memory of Serah alive until she could figure out how to fix the problem that she made. Lightning finally had an epiphany; the only way to save humanity was to restart the cycle of death and rebirth. Restoring Etro to her former glory would not be as simple as it was to diminish her powers. Now that humanity had been wiped out due to the actions of Caius, Lightning, Noel and Serah changing fate there was so much she had to do.
First thing? Find Noel Kriess in Valhalla, where she had asleep on the throne of Etro as an epitaph of what was left of the former world. When she awoke, she found that the Chaos had spilled into the real world and nothing was separate from the Unseen Realm, Valhalla and the Seen Realm -- all of it was visible.
“Where are you?” Light asked herself.
She flung herself forward, jumping off of the edge of the throne and raised her hand in the air to release spirals of rose petals into the sky. Fascinating hues of pink, red, magenta and silver exploding like fireworks into the sky as she called upon Odin. “Odin!”
Only moments were spent before a large, mechanical steed fitted with a leather saddle and silvery reigns appeared from the sky. Odin’s hooves pounded the air in a vertical downward spiral until he stopped in front of her. “My old friend.” Lightning grabbed onto the reigns and hoisted herself onto the saddle.
“Let’s find him. Wherever Noel Kriess may be.” She shook the reigned and Odin bolted into the sky, flying high above what was left of Etro’s castle that still glowed green. Noel would be easy to spot, as he was the only other human -- or human-like creature that existed except large monsters and Fal’cie
